REMER POLSKA

Galvanic baths

REMERPOLSKA Sp.z o.o. sp.k. designs, manufactures and supplies equipment for various branches of galvanisation: mechanical engineering, chemistry, metallurgy and other fields.

We manufacture new equipment and also replace the existing equipment that went out of business due to chemical and corrosive wear.

Each element of plating is produced according to the specific wishes of our customers.

Our company is able to produce galvanic devices of varying complexity for any galvanic coating.

Galvanic baths are the main equipment used for electroplating.

We use raw materials of high quality from the leading manufacturers in Europe to the production of galvanic baths:

  • Polypropylene (PP-H, PP-R, PP-C, PPs, PPs-el)
  • Polyethylene (PE 100, PE 100 RC, PE-el)
  • Polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U, PVC-MZ, PVC-C)
  • Fluoroplastic (PVDF и ECTFE)
  • Corrosion resistant steels
  • Electroplating

Galvanic bath tubs made of polypropylene (PP)

Polypropylene (PP) – is the most popular polymer material, it is resistant to most acids and bases, and it is designed for solution temperature up to + 100 °C (short-term – 110 °C). Due to the excellent chemical and thermal resistance, polypropylene is widely used both in the production of bath tubs and the lining of internal bath surfaces.

The construction of galvanic polypropylene baths provides for the installation of vertical and horizontal reinforcing plates; the wall thickness of the polypropylene plate is determined by the quality (pressure, density, temperature) of the solution to be used in the work. Large bath tubs are produced in a metal frame.

Galvanic bath tubs made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC)

Galvanic baths made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are most often used for clarification and passivation (nitric acid solutions, chromium electrolytes, etc.)

Polyvinyl chloride is most often used for internal lining; However, it can also be used for the production and construction of bathtubs.

Bath sheathing made of polyvinyl chloride

Galvanic bath tub made of PVDF polyvinyl chloride

Bath tubs coated with polypropylene lined with fluoroplastics

The tub sheathing is made of polypropylene (PP). The internal surfaces of polypropylene baths are lined with fluoroplastics: PVDF and ECTFE, the material is selected based on the parameters of the given technological process – the composition of the electrolyte, the concentration of its components and operating temperature.

Bathtubs with fluoroplastic lining are suitable for chromium plating, chromium passivation, electrolytic polishing, chromium anodic treatment, etc. Fluoroplastics is resistant in all corrosive environments and withstands up to 140 °С.

Steel galvanic bath tubs

The galvanic bath is made of metal (stainless steel, ordinary carbon steel) without lining. The steel grade is selected based on electroplating technology. The steel bathtub frames are most often used in the electroplating process characterized by high temperature (≥110 ° С) and non-aggressive or slightly aggressive environment (phosphate treatment, oxidation, washing, drying, etc.). In all other galvanic processes, the inner surface of the steel bathtub frame is protected (lined) with corrosion-resistant materials (thermoplastics, plastics, etc.).

Galvanic bath tubs lined with thermoplastics

Galvanic bath tubs are made of stainless steel or pllain carbon steel, the inner surface of the metal bath tubs is lined with a thermoplastic plate (polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinyl fluoride (PVDF), ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE).

The material of the bath liner is selected based on the technological specificity of the production process, electrolyte concentration and operating temperature.
